It has been immensely powerful and transformative to take this Nile pilgrimage with Jasmeen as our guide. I had wanted to visit Egypt for a long time and it was important for me to visit the ancient sacred sites with someone who felt them as that, not just as a tourist attraction. Jasmeen was that and more. I particularly appreciated the way in which she shared the stories of the Neteru, giving us a feel for the themes of each temple as well as offering us reflection questions for inner work whilst we were in the sites. The visits Jasmeen organised outside the temples were equally potent, particularly the blue lotus garden and Dr. Adel’s perfumery. Another element of the pilgrimage that was pure gold was the feeling of family. I really felt Jasmeen’s connection with the team (all who supported the pilgrimage, the boat staff etc.) and through that felt more at ease to settle into familiarity with her and the group. Thank you.
